The TOMOS Bio-Cinerator sterilizes micro-organisms using infrared heat produced by an asbestos-free ceramic core element which ensures maximum sterilization without splattering across the work surface. Needles, vaccination loops and culture tube mouths are completely sterilized within 5-7 seconds at an optimum temperature of 815.6ºC (1500ºF). The Bio-Cinerator is safe and convenient to use, easy to operate, and because it does not use an open flame, can be used in windy conditions. It is widely used in biological safety cabinets, clean benches, beside fans, in moving vehicles, etc. Its small footprint makes it an ideal instrument for both anaerobic and aerobic chambers. It also comes with several user-friendly accessories.
